What is your major and why did you choose this major?
I am a business management and marketing major and I chose this because I am interested in a career in sales and expanding my business knowledge.
Tell us a fun fact about yourself.
One fact you may not know about me is that my parents are from India but I grew up and have lived my whole life in the UK.
What is your teaching philosophy?
The main thing I enjoy about tutoring is trying to convey the concepts that people struggle with in more simple terms and making them understand the symptom to the issue rather than just giving them the answers.
What is your favorite math joke?
Hey, have you ever noticed what’s odd? Every other number!
How do you unwind after a stressful day?
I like to watch movies with my friends at our house as well as go to the gym.
What piece of advice would you give to students struggling with math?
My main advice would be to try and understand the problem from a different perspective such as visually like a graph or re-write the equation more simply first to make it easier to understand.
What is your major and why did you choose this major?
I am a Nursing major, and I chose it because I have always been passionate about helping others and positively impacting peoples’ lives.

I have three favorite animals: Chickens, jellyfish, and toucans.
What is your teaching philosophy?
I enjoy collaborating closely with students, guiding them step by step to ensure they fully understand the reasoning and purpose behind each action.
What is your favorite math joke?
“Once there was a hen who counted her own eggs. She was a mathmachicken!”
How do you unwind after a stressful day?
I love showers. A good shower can fix all of my problems. Also going to nature and eating a nice sandwich feels pretty nice after a crazy day.
What piece of advice would you give to students struggling with math?
In high school, my math teacher used to say, “Math is a skill, not a talent. Practice makes progress.” I think that idea applies to so many things in life! It’s all about putting in the effort and improving over time.
